In February 2018, just 10 short months after BALLISTIGLASS was founded, the unthinkable happened. A former student who had been previously expelled, entered the school with an AR-15 rifle, opened fire, and ended the lives of 17 students and staff members and seriously injured 17 others, making it the most deadly act of violence against a school in our nation’s history.
Our company founders knew that it was their duty to step up and do something to help protect the school from further harm. BALLISTIGLASS donated and installed bullet resistant windows at the school to help ensure the safety and security of those who work and learn there.
