How it works
Energy doesn't stop. It gets redirected.
Ordinary bullet-resistant glazing absorbs and traps. BallistiMAX absorbs, and the BallistiSHOCK layer redirects the remaining energy back at the source. When a 5.56 rifle round strikes the face, shrapnel returns toward the shooter at roughly 1,700 feet per second. When a 12-gauge shotgun slug strikes, the response is a matched shotgun return. The threat level that comes in is the threat level that goes back out.
That matters because the longer an event lasts, the worse it gets. BallistiMAX shortens events by making the building dangerous to attack.
