Acceptable use

Last updated: April 26, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to anyone who interacts with ballistiglass.com, the Ballistiglass quote form, or any specification material we publish. It exists so that the Site stays useful for facility operators, design professionals, and security staff who are evaluating real projects.

1. You agree not to

  • Submit false, misleading, or impersonated information through any form or inquiry channel.
  • Attempt to access or test parts of the Site or its infrastructure that are not publicly intended for you, including probing, brute force attempts, credential stuffing, or running automated vulnerability scanners without prior written permission.
  • Scrape Site content at scale, redistribute it, or use it as training data for machine-learning models without our prior written consent.
  • Upload anything to our quote form that is unlawful, infringing, malicious (including malware or links to malicious resources), or that contains information you are not authorized to share.
  • Use Ballistiglass marks, photographs, or copy to imply endorsement, partnership, or certification that does not exist.
  • Misrepresent UL 752 ratings, ferromagnetic detection capabilities, or any other Ballistiglass product specification in third-party materials.
  • Use the Site or our materials to plan, encourage, or facilitate violence or any activity that would harm a school, place of worship, or any other community gathering place.

2. Inquiry quality

Our team reads every quote submission. To make the process useful for both sides:

  • Use a real organizational email when you can. Personal addresses are accepted, but they slow down internal verification.
  • Tell us the building type, the rough opening count, and the timeline you are working against. "Just curious" inquiries are welcome but will be deprioritized behind active projects.
  • Do not include classified, proprietary, or PII information in attachments. If a project genuinely requires that, we will move the conversation to a more appropriate channel.

3. Reporting abuse

If you see content on the Site that you believe infringes a copyright, includes inaccurate technical claims, or otherwise violates this policy, please email support@ballistiglass.com with enough detail for us to investigate.

4. Security disclosure

We welcome good-faith security research. If you believe you have found a vulnerability in the Site, please email support@ballistiglass.com with the subject line "Security Disclosure," include a clear description and reproduction steps, and give us a reasonable window to remediate before public disclosure. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who follow this process in good faith and who do not access, alter, or exfiltrate user data.

5. Enforcement

We may, at our discretion, decline service, block IP ranges, remove content, or refer activity to law enforcement when this policy is violated. Repeat or material violations may result in being permanently barred from contacting us through this Site.

6. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to support@ballistiglass.com.
